New Delhi, 9 April, 2025: Hitachi announced Elevation of its first Indian Managing Director in India, Dr. Bharat Kaushal Corporate Officer, Hitachi, Ltd. and Managing Director, Hitachi India to Executive Chairman, acting Managing Director, Hitachi India, Corporate Officer, In charge of Regional Strategies (India), Hitachi, Ltd. Effective 1st April 2025

Strategic Leadership Transition to Drive Continued Innovation and Sustainable Growth in India’s Digital Transformation.

To further fortify Hitachi foundations in India, Hitachi India is pleased to announce the elevation of Dr. Bharat Kaushal, currently Corporate Officer, Hitachi, Ltd. and Managing Director Hitachi India, to Executive Chairman, acting Managing Director Hitachi India, Corporate Officer In charge of Regional Strategies (India), Hitachi, Ltd. effective 1st April 2025. This appointment re-emphasizes Hitachi India's continued commitment to strengthening its over nine decades of unwavering partnership with India, as the organization envisions a progressive yet accelerated growth plan for driving India's transformation and sustainable development.

Dr. Bharat Kaushal appointed as the first Indian Managing Director in FY2017 has been instrumental in demonstrating exemplary leadership and contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success. His strategic vision has propelled Hitachi India’s expansion across various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, healthcare, e-Education, Financial Inclusion and Urban Mobility, while fostering strong partnerships with key stakeholders and contributing to India's long-term development goals.
