Managing Environmental Footprint

At the core of GlobalLogic’s mission is a steadfast commitment to realize a decarbonized, resource-efficient society, and a society harmonized with nature as set forth under Hitachi’s Environmental Vision through grassroots initiatives in all regions. As part of this commitment, GlobalLogic is intensifying its efforts to track, monitor, and report its energy consumption. Commenced in FY2022, GlobalLogic is diligently monitoring the most significant energy and water-related metrics across all geographies in India to ensure a more sustainable and responsible approach to our operations.   • Implements sustainable solutions by optimizing energy consumption and reducing carbon emissions.
  • GlobalLogic is developing a Mobile App called, GreenMover, a mobile first solution, which provides green reward points to passengers for every use of public transportation.
  • GlobalLogic has commissioned Electric Vehicles for its employee transportation fleet, reducing carbon emissions. On World Environment Day (5th June, 2023), the company introduced EVs at its Noida, Gurgaon, and Hyderabad delivery centres.
  • Through its proven expertise in digital engineering, GlobalLogic is strengthening Digital India – flagship programme of the Government of India to provide digital infrastructure as a core utility to every citizen - by collaborating with businesses across diverse sectors to build a resilient IT infrastructure.
  • To facilitate a smooth remote work experience for its employees, the organisation has optimized and simplified remote work capabilities by utilizing cutting-edge tools such as the GLCafe and harnessing the potential of the Metaverse to foster virtual connections among the team members.
  • Additionally, GlobalLogic has implemented advanced tech monitoring systems to ensure well-being and performance.

Innovations such as GLInsider and InsightBridge aim to connect people with the technology for trust and accessibility.
  • The team is actively developing a Sustainability-as-a-Service platform that empowers every employee to contribute and monitor sustainability initiatives. The goal is to democratize sustainability, making it a challenge that can be tackled at all levels of the organization.

  • GlobalLogic has achieved a Green rating via the NQC Supplier Assurance platform, a cloud-based solution used by suppliers to determine their sustainability performance level.
  • GlobalLogic’s sustainability efforts have earned a silver rating from EcoVadis, placing the company in the upper 27th percentile among technology services businesses. The achievement is a testament to GlobalLogic’s commitment to ESG initiatives and its support for customers in achieving their sustainability goals.
